"Waiting On" Wednesday: Full Dark, No Stars

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

This week I'm waiting on....

Full Dark, No Stars by Stephen King
Published: November 9 2010
Hardcover 352 pages

From Goodreads:
A new collection of four never-before-published stories from Stephen King.

1922
The story opens with the confession of Wilfred James to the murder of his wife, Arlette, following their move to Hemingford, Nebraska onto land willed to Arlette by her father.

Big Driver
Mystery writer, Tess, has been supplementing her writing income for years by doing speaking engagements with no problems. But following a last-minute invitation to a book club 60 miles away, she takes a shortcut home with dire consequences.

Fair Extension
Harry Streeter, who is suffering from cancer, decides to make a deal with the devil but, as always, there is a price to pay.

A Good Marriage
Darcy Anderson learns more about her husband of over twenty years than she would have liked to know when she stumbles literally upon a box under a worktable in their garage. -www.stephenking.com
I've been a Stephen King fan since I can remember. Stephen King has gotten back to his roots with Under the Dome and I'm expecting great things with this short story collection.

I was so addicted to Stephen King growing up but got turned off when I started to read Rose Madder. This looks like it's a good read so maybe I need to check him out again. Thanks for the WOW choice and I'm a new follower

Come by and see my WOW

Like the BookishSnob I devoured King's early work, including his short stories published under Bachman. I might just have to check this out. Thanks!

I might be the only person who isn’t a King fan. Everyone says I just haven’t met the right Stephen King book yet. Under the Dome sounds interesting though so maybe I’ll give it a go. I must admit these short stories have piqued my curiosity.

Now I feel like a very bad Stephen King fan. I didn't even know this was coming out! Thanks for putting it on my radar :). I LOVE his twisted mind.
